DEL BENE, JUDAH ASAHEL BEN DAVID ELIEZER
DEL BENE, JUDAH ASAHEL BEN DAVID ELIEZER (1615?–1678), rabbi and scholar who lived in Ferrara. Del Bene was considered by isaac lampronti as one of the great talmudists of his time. He was the author of Kisot le-Veit David (Verona, 1646), a philosophical work in which he upheld basic Jewish teachings in the face of philosophical criticism.
